this is my own kabuki play :-) i was thinking of this popular topic in kabuki plays, where we often see the ghost of young girls coming back to haunt their murderers, or unfaithful lovers.
here, the young woman was, as the others photos of this series will show, very much alive :-), she was the caretaker of this place which was the residence of former lords of the town Takamatsu - nowadays guests are offered matcha and japanese sweets in these rooms (it was delicious).
aaah awesome.your very own kabuki play and indeed it was a success.
well it depends on your beliefs to consider the haunting of ghosts, but perhaps the only battles we ever truly fight are the phantoms of our minds this is a beautiful peaceful setting, it seems like the tranquility of a zen garden.\ and somehow I a don't feel too threatened by this ghost she seems to partake in the quiet landscape with her ephemeral nature and as you say she is still living but pumping silver blood..
ah Madeleine, how well you put it: "but perhaps the only battles we ever truly fight are the phantoms of our minds" - this is true, i think, yes. it is a zen garden, actually i will explain in the next post more about it, as i found the files :-)
thank you for sharing this tranquility - and the kabuki play! - with me :-)
