  1. there is such order here before the temple. i am overwhelmed. i have a hard time understanding it. i'm afraid that were i to enter you would find my clothing there shed in a pile, alongside my skin.

are you amazed by this order? do you understand it?

    1. yes, i am astonished by it, as well. i am a very chaotic person myself, outwardly, at least. in japan they create order even in the smallest things, which one wouldn't have thought of in those terms... the impossible precision of each gesture, move, placement, during the tea ceremony is the best example of this. even drinking out of the bowl has to be done following specific patterns. i am in awe in front of this capacity of human beings to defy chaos by such absolute of geometrical perfection. then i can't stop thinking of the reverse, of how such an order is stifling, not liberating... it is a paradox here.(as always?)

  2. in ACEASTA japonie , a ta,ma simt mereu ca venind acasa-nu crezi ca as fi fost...daca nu fericita, cel putin in elementul meu, in toata aceasta geometrie si ordine,in toata aceasta tacere in care pasii, cand sunt, sunt vatuiti?...de fiecare data mi se pare ca intru intr-un templu, asta asa e, si nu as adauga acolo nici macar o ramurica firava, niciun detaliu, doar respir si stiu ca asa trebuie sa fie lucrurile.

    1. ba da, draga mea, as vrea atat de mult sa-ti pot arata, intr-o zi, aceasta japonie si altfel decat in imagini, nu imi imaginez pe nimeni mai la locul ei acolo, decat tine...
