acest amestec, intre casele vechi si uratenia cablurilor, este deconcertant de multe ori, dar aici parca este salvat cumva, de nemiscare, de nobletea acoperisurilor atat de vechi...
So interesting how the shapes of the roofs and the tree are echoed by the pole and electrical wires. I'm usually dismayed by wires lining the sky in an otherwise bucolic sort of photo, but not this time. Wonderful roofs (or is it "rooves"?) in the second picture.
yes, those wires are (almost) always a problem :-) they are ubiquitous in japanese cities (because of earthquakes they couldn't bury them in the ground) and they make the streets extremely ugly.
